Online Compassion Training


The mindfulness-based compassionate living (MBCL) training is a group-based 8 week training, including 8-15 people, with 2.5 hour lasting sessions. The sessions contain experiential practices in which we (re-)discover our patterns, share our experiences, and receive psycho-education. In between the sessions, one is expected to practice at home for about 30-45 min a day, including formal home practices, such as a compassionate body scan or a metta meditation but also informal shorter practices bringing (self-)compassion more explicitly into daily life, such as walking with kindness or taking a self-compassion break, and keeping logs. Science to date seems to indicate that a (self-)compassion training may lead to, among others, increases in mindfulness and (self-)compassion skills, and well-being, while decreases in symptoms of distress/burnout, self-criticism, and rumination are found.

This 8 week training takes place on Monday evenings, from 7.30-10.00pm, on the following dates:

Session 1 | January 08

Session 4 | January 29

Session 5 | February 05

Session 6 | February 12

Session 7 | February 19

Session 8 | February 26

Including a Silent Day on Sunday February 25, from 10am - 4pm.


The costs for this training are 450 euros.
